Now, it is On Howard today....he is such an asshole!
I think it started with Giftscriptions..
I thought you were gonna say "and then I stopped eating dinner."
Yes, I went to a liquid vodka diet...
I no longer even know anyone who listens, no conversations for me.
Had to read it a couple of times... So true.
The last person I knew that still listened, stopped about 4 years ago.
The only comments I hear now are about his AGT commercials and to a person the opinion is: Man he really hit bottom. True story
I remember the first couple of years I would sometimes be late for meetings because I didn't want to shut off the radio. That has not happened since 2009/10.
the only people who still listen are here at dawg's (and that other place). most people think he retired (and they'd be right...sort of).
The guys down at the soup kitchen have Sirius?
For me its 'Was Howard live today?"
Then we disuss how long he talked about AGT.
It's not fun or funny.
Truth! and he should have.
howard pissed on his fans..he expects to blowup AGT but I suspect after an initial bump it'll flatten out..
People can't believe I still listen (I canceled my subscription when he pissed on us).
When I bring him up, I am usually complaining and other people say, if you hate him, why do you listen.
Most common answer: "I want to see how low he will sink next"
The only laughs I get from the show now are directly at Howard for turning into such a hypocritical pussy.
It's hard to believe I once respected him so much.
And I remember overhearing other people talking about Howard "today on Stern, etc"
NOW my friends say to me "you still listen to that guy???"
No young kids today know who he is...he is a fossil. We still care because we are nearly fossils.
I knew several people that had both Sirius and HTV and were rabid fans years back...most of them cancelled shortly after Artie left the show...A buddy of mine still has Howard TV (which I cancelled a year or two ago) but even he was wondering why he pays the extra money for non-entertainment. Its a dying breed of people, soon to be extinct.
I was over at SFN and it's an alternative universe over there, where people listen to the Chatter because they really like Robin and actually want to hear what she says.
I talked to my Uncle and I was telling him I listen, and he was a trucker and a DC101-era listener and stopped listening after a year or two at Sirius. I could tell when I was talking to him that he hadn't thought of the show in YEARS. He really thought Jackie was dead.
