Did my first fantasy draft of the year last night.

This one is a 12 man, 2 QB, snake. Qbs are valued a little differently, so they go quick.

    QB: Peyton Manning
    RB: Andre Ellington
    RB: Toby Gerhart.
    WR: Demaryius Thomas
    WR: Alshon Jeffrey
    TE: Kyle Rudolph
    FLEX: Michael Crabtree
    Offensive Player: Tony Romo
    D/ST: Rams
    K: Adam Vinatieri
    BE: Bishop Sankey
    BE: Eric Decker
    BE: EJ Manuel
    BE: Greg Jennings
    BE: Terrance West
    BE: James Jones

I think Im in pretty good shape. I took a bit of a risk at RB, but I think it will pay off.

so you went #1 Peyton, #2 Thomas, #3 Ellington? Hopefully Ellington can hold up for the season because your RB depth is scary :scared: Crabtree at flex might be something you want to try and improve as well. Not bad though, I like Rudolph this year with Norv Turner led offense in Minnesota.

    1: Peyton
    2:Romo
    3: Thomas
    4: Ellington
(Like I said, QBs are different in my league.)

I figured people would say that about my RB's, but I disagree. I think Gerhart is one of the most undervalued fantasy players in the game. I also think Sankey will be one of the more standout rookies. I think that is my weakest position, obviously, but to call my depth "scary" seems a bit exaggerated.

I think you are right about Rudolph. I am really hoping he can hold up, health wise. If so, he can put up huge numbers. I think he is riskier than a lot of other tight ends, but has the highest ceiling (outside of Graham, Gronk, or Thomas).

Get rid of EJ Manuel for a RB. He's terrible. And Ellington is injury prone. You need 1-2 more rb's.

Manuel is a bum. I need a Bench Qb, though. He's the best I could do.

Though, I could trade him to a team with only one QB...

Bradford is the worst, man. He's as sturdy as a wicker basket.

I agree on Gerhart. Someone is going to get touches there. Only critique I would give is I don't like having 2 starters on the same team. If one gets injured, then you are fucked at 2 spots.

Yea, and that is a risk you run. I often agree with you, and had an internal debate about it. I like the potential payoff, however, so pulled the trigger.

crabtree is going to beast out this year
jeffrey will disappoint you; cutler and marshall are love buddies so alshon won't see the same targets he did when mccown was qb last year
you should see if you can trade gerhart. jaguars can't score and i don't think there'll be a 2nd half all year that the game will be close enough that they will still be running the ball.
is locker or cassel available? manuel is a joke.
    pretty good team though

If the league is PPR, then Gerhart will be good. 2nd 1/2 deficits will lead to many check down passes. I'll be surprised if he doesn't get 40-50 receptions this year.

I hear ya. I've only played in PPR leagues so I always assume PPR.
