A friend told me about it a couple days ago. You commit to walking / running ten thousand steps every day in October. Works out to about 5 miles. I would do that probably 20+ days a month anyway--sometimes a lot more, but for sure I have days when I sit on my ass and go nowhere. You don't get to bank steps. If I do 20k on Monday, I still have to do 10k on Tuesday. Anyone else want to do it?
