Granted, there aren't many, but the only one I can think of offhand was entertaining IN SPITE OF the Wig, not because of him. That's the Robert Carradine/Curtis Armstrong interview.

The mind-blowing shit Robert had to say about his famous family was great--and Howard stepped on so much of the interview he almost ruined it. And he still cut it short.

At the tail-end of 2009, Artie would do a character called the 'Guy Who Laughs At Everything' that would make me cry laughing.

Him ripping on JD for his love of Look Who's Talking was too much.

Since you're including 2009, I'm sure I could find something. It wasn't a great year, but I'm sure it had enough good Artie moments to outdo every year since. If we had to pick something 2010-now, then I'd have some trouble. Only thing I can think of off hand is when Howard got pissed about Beth posing with Jared. It was great for all the wrong reasons, though. I was no longer laughing with Howard, I was laughing at him. If it made him uncomfortable and pissed him off, I loved it. I know there was something else, but I can't remember what it was. So it couldn't have been that good.

Howard is capable of doing great interviews with bands/musicians but he repeats guests or has all these old timers or pop acts on. For example, how many times has Train been on? Who really gives a shit about them? You ever seen anybody wearing a Train tee shirt anywhere?

Why don't they have some younger rock/metal bands that could have some wild current stories and can be entertaining? Bands people give a shit about not all the repeats and dusty ass old musicians. The BEST fuckin guest would be Steel Panther..how the fuck have they never been on? They are the funniest fuckin band ever AND they kick ass. Why don't they have WWE guys on anymore? Those have been some of the best interviews ever. But Gary "doesn't get" wrestling so let's book fuckin Whitney Cummings again FFS.

It seems like they mostly book the shows guests for people outside the demographic which is bullshit cause fans actually pay..

Only thing in that time period that ever had a chance was anything with ETM. His IQ test saga made me laugh. His in plain sight filming was humorous. Eric with Tia Carrere. And reading his tweets was funny.

The Conan O'Brian interview a couple of years ago was pretty good, but I might be biased, because I listened to it the morning after I received a very memorable blowjob

Woody Harrelson and Willie Nelson called in from Maui in May 2010. Really not much to do with Howard. It's Woody Harrelson and Willie Nelson calling in from Maui. How can that not be awesome?
