I have been putting it off because I knew it was going to fail to impress. I gave it a chance last night and I was right. Here is why, I had already watched "Pablo Escobar El Patron Del Mal" also on Netflix which is an absolute masterpiece. It fills in every single blank that you may not have known about.

I made it through two episodes of Narcos and trashed it. It has been done before and it sucks.

Try this one, you will not be disappointed.

You were more generous than me. I watched 1 episode and vetoed it.

I wanted to make sure it sucked and it did.

Narcos might be the best Netflix Original series yet. Wagner Moura's work as Pablo Escobar is amazing. Dawg, you're in the minority on this one...

I thought it was worth watching. The spanish/subtitles drove me nuts because it forced you to pay attention ( even though I speak the language) It just kept me thinking that the only reason it was done this way was to share production costs with the whatever spanish language channel they were first running this on in Latin America. Still does not hold a candle to Miami Vice, Crime Story or Wiseguy.

I may have liked it if I had not seen an absolute masterpiece to compare it to.

Netflix originals are all mediocre at best in my humble opinion. Most of them are watchable. None are great.

I have yet to make it through one. I trashed Daredevil after two also.

I got into episode 2 and noticed I was looking at my phone the entire time and wasn't even following what was happening. It was boring quite frankly. I'll try the other one you mention.

If a show was any good, it would get picked up by a network.

I didn't watch it just because Stern promoted it.

I liked Narcos but I can see why it would disappoint.

Thanks for the recommendation for "Pablo Escobar El Patron Del Mal". Didn't even know about it and could use something to watch.

I bailed after episode 1 also.

I highly recommend the ESPN 30 for 30 "Two Escobars."

I also can't get through it. It's not very good. Netflix original programming is hit or miss, but I really enjoyed House of Cards and Bojack Horseman.

I loved Narcos, but then I haven't seen "Pablo Escobar El Patron Del Mal". I will definitely check it out if it's really that much better. Thank god for good tv.

I wasn't bored by the show at all, lots of sex, violence, and political intrigue. The characters are well written and well acted. It helps that it's my favorite genre; crime drama.
