Steven Tyler clearly didn't want to "miss a thing" at Taylor Swift's latest "1989" tour stop.

The Aerosmith frontman became the pop star's newest squad member on Friday, when he joined her on stage in Nashville for a duet of his band's 1997 smash "I Don't Want To Miss a Thing."

Teaming up on the hit "Armageddon" theme was a thrill for both Steven and Taylor, as they each took to social media to share their excitement about the performance.

"HOLY SWIFT!!! @TAYLORSWIFT13 ...SHINED SO HOT N BRIGHT SHE MADE THE SUN JEALOUS," the 67-year-old rocker Tweeted. "THANKS FOR THE FUN."

Taylor had kind words to offer, too. The "Wildest Dreams" singer posted a mid-song clip from the show on her own Twitter page, and thanked Steven for his positive energy.

"Singing 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing' with @IamStevenT was an honor," she captioned the vid. "So inspired by how sweet he was to all of us."

She also shared an up-close stage photo on Instagram, giving fans a firsthand look at Steven's scarf-adorned mic stand and her glittery, fringed ensemble.

Taylor said her most recent concert guest marks yet another memorable experience from her record-breaking tour.

"The incredible @iamstevent tonight singing 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing,'" she wrote to accompany the shot, adding, "magical things going down on this tour."

Steven is just the latest addition to Taylor's already high-profile cameo roster. Since kicking off her "1989" concert series in May, she's welcomed stars like Selena Gomez, Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Mary J. Blige, Fetty Wap, Alanis Morissette and more.

i'm about to gay it up even more.

I never liked that song until i heard the inspiration for it. Taste preferences aside, it makes me tear up now every time i hear it.

Although "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" is by far and away AEROSMITH's biggest hit, it was not written with them in mind. Songwriter Diane Warren, who is easily the most successful songwriter of the past 20 years, was asked to write a song for the movie "Armageddon" and — as shocking as this sounds — it was largely inspired by Barbra Streisand and James Brolin!

Warren explained to Wilkes Barre Times-Leader how the song evolved after she saw an advance screening of "Armageddon": "I saw some of the scenes, especially in the end where Bruce Willis' character dies. It was very touching. So I wrote 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing'. I'd had the idea because I heard something that James Brolin said about Barbra Streisand, that he didn't want to go to sleep because he'd miss her. I kept that idea in my mind.":boohoo:

Lana Del Rey is hotter. I think Swift was more attractive 5 years ago.

Since I'm a girl no. You can have Taylor and her fake choppers, and love songs. I'll pass on the fading old queen trying to stay relevant.

Looking at her, or posting pics of her, isn't gay at all.
Liking, or posting about, her shitty music is gayer than evolved Howard.
Stsrting a thread with an article about a shitty song and your main picture featuring Steven Tyler in full on old queen mode is gayer than evolved Howard with a kitten in each hand.

Is the fading old queen Howard or Steven Tyler? I'll admit Tyler isn't the big rock star queen he once was but I'll take my Pump, Toys In the Attic, Rocks and Permanent Vacation albums with me until I die. Nothing wrong with getting drunk and going to see Hank III, but you can't really compare his act with Aerosmith. (Taylor Swift I can't vouch for...but that "Shake it Off" song is atrocious)

Bet she's a dud in bed, actually. One of those hot chicks who figures she's so good looking all she has to do is lie there.

We went to the Nashville show last night (my girlfriend is a big fan) and Mick Jagger (!!!) was the surprise guest. They sang Satisfaction together. Not a fan of Swiftie's music but I have to admit it was an amazing moment. The crowd went nuts!
