Yup, Fred fucked it up by playing too fast and Natilie fucked it up by not telling fred to show down.

Man, it pains me, gives me pain dammit!!!!!, to say this but I enjoyed it. The tempo, the singing, the playing. Everything.

And I dislike that song generally.

Natalie should have brought her own accoustic guitar in and sing Landslide. :pissed:

Yeah, I dug it after the first verse. I'm not sure if it was the added instruments muting more of her voice or if it was her singing stronger that was more appealing, but it was a vast improvement over the in-studio performance.

And now this is how the song is supposed to sound.

Like Pete Townshend said "it's the singer, not the song."

Her rendition didn't bring anything new to the song. It was pretty average and not very enjoyable.

This. The interview with her was even more painful.

There are two unwritten rules when covering a song:

it's got to be a classic

you've got to bring a new dimension to it

this song isn't a classic, and Maines didn't bring a new dimension to it

Artie's version >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Natalie's version, because at least you can hear the junkie-pain coming through it

I really despise that woman.
She actually believes that the First Amendment allows her to speak without consequences.

She and Howard are profoundly ignorant of what the First Amendment actually is and means.
The First Amendment only allows her to speak without Government interference in her speech.
It does NOT protect her from the reaction of those who find her speech to be blatantly and callously offensive.

She's a typical libtard.
She professes a right for herself but doesn't acknowledge the rights of those who find her conduct reprehensible.

She used to be somewhat attractive.
OOFah! has that woman let herself go.
She now looks like a an old bagged out version of Lindsay Lohan's old dyke girlfriend.
Not even a pretense of femininity.

Paradise Lost, the first of three HBO movies about the West Memphis 3 is on youtube, but since some dummy uploaded the entire movie, I won't repost it here.

What are you talking about? She was sued by one of the fathers of the victims and he lost.

looks like HHS is the only place Nat is still welcome.

While in England the Jane Fonda wannabe said "Just so you know, we're on the good side with y'all. We do not want this war, this violence, and we're ashamed that the President of the United States is from Texas"

then there was a thud- the sound of her career ending

I was speaking about what she said about President Bush.

It was shameful and she deserved every bit of shit she received for it.

It's shameful to state that you are ashamed to be from the same state as the president? She deserved the multiple death threats? You're too sensitive.
