Do they draft? If so, who?

Or do they trade the pic for a star?

Personally I think this team needs some veteran leadership with Kobe exiting the scene.

But i dont want to just rent a guy. We need a star for the long haul.

    What say you?

if it was rigged the Lakers would have had the #1, the NBA desperately wants the Lakers to be relevant again.

Only the top 2 picks have all star potential, but it's a pretty creepy draft at the top with no sure super stars at all.

Philly will take Simmons and find out quickly all he cares about is getting paid. I'd rather take Ingram because of his defensive potential and ability to play stretch 4 while eventually be able to guard 2-4.

word is the big players in play for trading for a top pick are paul george, jimmy butler, boogie cousins, and blake griffin. any of them better than the #2 for the lakers, desperate for a new "star" type player, so seeing as they already have a young core of randle, russell and clarkson, go for the "star"
