So Howard said that NBC approached him over the break to sign up for a second season of AGT. I call BS!!! It certainly wasn't after the ratings disaster of last week. I think Howard alluded to why he said that NBC asked him back is because everyone will assume if he doesn't do a second season that everyone will think he was fired. By saying NBC offered him a contract to stay, I think he is laying the ground work to say he decided not to do a second season. He even threw out there at Don Buckwald said he could walk away from his Sirius contract at any time (after Buckwald screwed up Howard's bonus language, I don't think Howard should be listening to Don about contract advice).
