NBC is coming down like a hammer on celebs who want to get on Jimmy Fallon's show ... if they dare do a show on CBS or ABC ... they can forget about "The Tonight Show."

Sources connected to CBS, NBC and ABC tell TMZ ... the Peacock network believes Jimmy Fallon's ratings success gives them extreme bargaining power. They put the word out to celebs, agents and publicists ... if they want to be on Fallon they can't appear on ANY other network ... and not just shows that go head-to-head with Jimmy, but morning shows as well.

We're told NBC is saying the stars who go on Fallon are also allowed to appear on "Today," "Dateline" and any similar shows they air, but that's it.

I am confused. Didn't Wiggy say just the other day that he does not prevent guests to appear on other shows. Did he lie?

The celebs need to fight back and boycott the entirety of late night, SNL included.

I don't know if I believe this. The studio wouldn't put up with it. Celebrities, for the most part, do those shows to promote a project. Stopping them from plugging shit on the other shows cuts away a huge source of free adverting.

Just like he doesn't dye "his" hair. The Asian pubes he wears as a hat may be dyed, I'm not sure.

I think it probably only applies to actors on television shows on NBC and NBC's sister networks. They wouldn't have the leverage to impose this on movie celebrities.

But that's not what the article says. And even if that was the case, I still call bullshit.

You think some studio that has hundreds of millions invested in a movie is gonna let NBC do that? If the article claimed that NBC wants celebrities to appear on The Tonight Show first, or not at all, I could see it. But not a complete all-or-nothing shutout.
