Hey guys, I'm new here but I'm also "Chucky O'Hara" on SFN. People I respect over there said this site is great, so here I am. But let me get a lil self indulgent for my first post. I've gotten on this crazy kick trying to watch ALL films set and shot in 1970s/early 80s NYC. There's something about that era and locale that just memorizes and fascinates me. The danger, the grit, the scenes, the look, the edge etc etc etc. In last coupla months I've watched; TAKING OF PELHAM 123 AUTHOR AUTHOR DEATH WISH 1 THE WARRIORS STAYING ALIVE MARATHON MAN NIGHTHAWKS FRENCH CONNECTION PRINCE OF THE CITY PRISONER OF SECOND AVENUE THE SEVEN UPS MEAN STREETS TAXI DRIVER ALL THAT JAZZ MANHATTAN ANNIE HALL SERPICO and others I'm forgetting. For the most part I've had an easy time tracking these films down even though they're 30 to 40 years old but one film is driving me crazy right now in NOT finding in any way shape or form and that's LAW AND DISORDER starring Carroll "Archie Bunker" O'Conner and Ernest "Single Guy" Borgnine. It's about a coupla neighborhood middle-aged guys that try to clean up their crime riddled neighborhood by becoming Aux Cops in NYC. ANYONE have a line on this film in terms of how I watch it or DL it online? I can't crack this one, any sites you know? It's also not on Netflix or Blockbuster. And I even went on Amazon and ebay and the pickins are slim to none OR these sellers are charging fucking $50 for a dopey copy which I refuse to even dignify.
