Everyone enjoying how safe we are in our police state yet?

Remember, remain in constant fear of everyone and everything always and let the government protect you. Guaranteed a terrorist is just around the corner

 Police took 20 minutes to respond after call. The whole school could have been killed by then

How about arming students and teachers? If there was a real threat the terrorist would have been dead inside of 5 seconds

Nah, can't do that guns are dangerous

Can't blame them. If you point what looks like a gun at police, expect to be shot. I don't point pellet guns at police cause I don't want them to shoot me.

You can't blame the mother and father for being pissed at this point. They've lost their son and are in shock with grief.

But these days a 15 year old with a gun isn't rare at all. The boy obviously was trying to be bad, punching some kid for no reason and pulling out a gun. He should've just dropped it when the cops told him to and we wouldn't be reading about this now

All that and I gotta say when I was in school if some kid brought a gun everybody would've told on him and the teacher would have taken it away and smacked the shit out of him with it. Then when he got home his father would've done the same

When you point a gun at a cop expect to be killed.

It would have been nice if they knew it was not a real gun and they could have just shot him in the arm or leg, but hindsight is 20/20.

If you think you are gonna be shot, better to shoot to kill first.

I feel bad for the kid and family, but it's too late now. I bet the cops feel bad, but the kid committed suicide by cop.

Because they are emotional and can't think rationally.

Also people don't want to see both sides.

My father is the same way. He doesn't understand why my sister and I are mad at him, even when we tell him, he only sees his side.

Unless the kid was mentally ill it is he parents fault for not teaching him to respect police.

Did you all see the pic of the pellet gun. The damn thing looks like a real gun. Cops didn't have a choice.

Agree. If you read the article and know the PC code you can see the boy had been in trouble before

Haven't seen it, but there are many BB/pellet guns out now that appear exactly like larger and more powerful "real" guns. Plus, nowadays so many kids are getting real guns and doing real damage with them. After living in Dallas for 20 years, I'm more scared of a carload of Messican teenagers than a rabid Polar Bear...
