That means the streaming price will go up. I'm glad I still get mine through the mail. If they raise that, then I quit.

They're expanding and if Google Fiber works then Comcast is just committing suicide.

I have Comcast, and the buffering on Netflix and HBOGo has gotten pretty bad in the past few weeks, sometimes to the point where I just give up. I believe Comcast has denied throttling bandwidth in regards to Netflix, but I doubt it's just coincidence.

If they weren't responsible, how can they accept money to make sure Netflix works smoothly? The just admitted they were causing it.

if Netflix is using the most bandwidth, then they should pay to help deliver their product. Land developers pay cities to build wider roads to their new subdivisions.

Exactly. How do they ensure Netflix's smooth operation without admitting they were throttling it?

Ummm, aren't Comcast's customers ALREADY paying for that bandwidth? This is blackmail, plain and simple.

still waiting to hear from the Feds about that: it makes them an oligopoly and Comcast a regional monopoly.

They commit to give netflix' packets preferential treatment. This does not require them to admit they were throttling; it acknowledges they will treat Amazon, and other streaming services worse than netflix.
