    "Happy Father’s Day, Mom" commercial stokes boycott threats

    "This video honors single moms who have to be both mom and dad. Women who have to be soft and strong at the same time. These unsung heroes take on both parental roles and balance them with grace every single day. This year let's also say#HappyFathersDayMom"

    So.... you can't honor moms (all moms, single or not) on... wait for it... Mother's Day?

    No, that's not exactly what I'm saying. However, I TOTALLY understand people who want to honor moms on Father's Day when the mom had to be BOTH mom and dad. But, yes, you make a good point. Give Mom her kudos on Mother's Day.

    BTW, greeting card companies already created another corporate holiday called "National Single Parents Day" which is March 21st.

    I'm sick and tired of single moms who CHOSE to be single moms looking for sympathy with the "I'm a single mom" bullshit I hear every day. And it's ALWAYS on TV on stupid shows so we can all feel sorry for the ho and/or root for them.

    Keep your legs closed, abort, or put it up for adoption. Don't be crying to me for special treatment. You chose this path.

    Now, this does not apply to moms whose hubbies took off or died. Situations change.

    I was watching some lifetime show and some fat slob mud shark was telling me how hard her life as a single mom. She had maybe a 3 year old and a NEWBORN!!! Bitch, if it was so hard, why did you do it again?

    GTFOH with that bullshit.

    It is a strange illusion.

    A large % of single moms are in their situation directly because of their poor decision making: unprotected sex with losers, thinking the 'bad boy' will change, drunken anonymous sex with good looking douchebag alpha cock she just met, etc.

    Then the illusion continues that these women are doing such a great job. Being a single parent is a tremendous burden, don't get me wrong, but who is to say they're all doing such a great job of it? The statistics prove otherwise. Children of single moms have a much higher rate of substance abuse, more crime, worse grades, etc. Maybe instead of always praising how wonderful they all are, they should be held accountable for their actions like everyone else?
