Holy shit. This is great. I was getting 200GB for ten bucks a month, but now they're giving me five times as much.

    New prices

No real reason not to use it anymore. Now I can also backup all my RAW files that were taking up 300GB. :cheer:

The cloud is safe dont worry about it. what can go wrong with all your personal info mixed with others in the cloud? Also, dont worry, no one will snoop into those files either.

You listen to podcasts at all dawg? Check out "security now" with steve Gibson. I know you and I think you will like it. I am a firm believer in TNO security.

I know how to encrypt my own drives on my own network. You can trust Google if you like but i wouldnt touch it with a stick.

What does it matter if I'm sending them encrypted volumes? I had a NAS, setup permissions, the whole deal. The cloud is the future and does not equal instant privacy loss.

Yes it does. That's exactly what it does.

Also, you may want to read up on how the NSA has cracked most encryption.

The only way to have security is to store the important files offline at home.

the cloud has great potential, but the casual attitude people have about their personal data could very well bite them in the ass.

Now I'm not trying to argue but you guys are dead wrong if you believe any of this. The NSA has crippled certain random number generators, not cracked encryption. The spreading of this false information is annoying. Encryption is stronger than ever if done right. Have either of you ever built your own certs and keys?
