Noticed the last couple of weeks that someone named Donna Frank has been hosting weekend Sternthology. Wondered who she was because she's clearly reading from a script and doesn't seem to have any independent knowledge of the Stern Show. Did a Google search and found she's some sort of "voice talent" represented by Buchwald. Why would they hire someone from the outside instead of using existing staff for this? Her bio suggests she's a well-known radio personality in Vermont but that's where I live and I never heard of her: Hailing originally from legendary alternative rock station WEQX in the mountains of Vermont, Donna’s voice is now heard worldwide. In the United States, her voice is used by Sirius satellite radio stations H100 and H101 for the The Howard Stern show, by the nationally syndicated American Country Countdown show, and more. Out of England she is the premier voice of Imgr.com. Donna’s voice is currently imaging stations in Atlanta, Ireland, Canada, Richmond, Reno, Vermont, Florida, South Carolina and more. She owns her own recording studio. Some of Donna’s national commercial clients include Comedy Central, McDonald's, Axe, TVLand, and many more.
