    I saw them open for Dream Theater a few years ago. Richard is ridiculous. It was over a hundred degrees in the room and he never let up for the entire set.

    Amazing drums. Shame it can't be paired with better music. I was digging it until the vocals, then it was all downhill from there. Too bad he never got an offer from someone big like Slayer.

    I'm hoping he's just riding out the Stern wave as long as he can and music is a part time hobby. Once it's over he can turn his focus to drumming and hook up with a real band.

    I know he's gotten to sit in with a lot of bands like Coheed and Cambria so he's on their radar. I'm sure if one of those bands loses a drummer they would trust him as a suitable replacement.

    then again, what the fuck do I know? :dontknow:

    I just wonder at this point if he'd leave Stern for an offer from Slayer or Megadeth or someone like that. Surely the Stern job is no longer the dream job it was when he left his drumming career for it. Or maybe he just really doesn't like touring and wants to live in one place, so he does his Charred Walls thing as his music outlet. But yeah, who knows? It's just interesting that someone on the show has an actual talent.
