Hahaha! I love him- I would watch on Food Network in a heartbeat!
Doug Z. Goodstein goes from Executive Producer iNDEMAND Networks HTV to producer of Sal's youtube cooking videos.
It's a damn good thing no one else has ever thought of oven fried chicken or Sal would be in real trouble with his challenge.
I just made Ina Garten's oven fried chicken yesterday. You slather it with dijon mustard/white wine (not necessary) thyme and lemon. Then roll in panko breadcrumbs. Then bake in the oven "Oven Fry" if you will.
I like Sal, I think he's entertaining, I'd watch a cooking show of his. There are hardly any new ideas anyway, what the hell's the difference.
Tip: Add a little olive oil to your breadcrumbs, so you won't have dry patches. Then you don't have to "baste" it, like Sal does here.
So Howard let Sal use the "ta-da" sound drop?
Sal is gearing up for Howchie's retirement.
I hope his Homeowners' insurance is paid up.
I wish he would put Christine in his videos
Good for him. Smart move.
He is getting better and better, but he needs to drop the toaster thing already. Start cooking real italian meals out of his kitchen, then maybe he might have a Food Network gig one day.
Ummm... Guess Goldstein isn't bitter. Oh and raccoon boy, you just breaded and basted a chick leg. That's not frying shit....
or you could just get a skillet out and fry the damn chicken. jeebus. 50 minutes of staring into a toaster oven for a couple of chicken legs. idiot.
