That press release seems to be promoting CBS more than Star Trek.
"The brand-new Star Trek will introduce new characters seeking imaginative new worlds and new civilizations, while exploring the dramatic contemporary themes that have been a signature of the franchise since its inception in 1966."
Man, haven't they heard of Spoiler alerts?
yes I went to a star trek convention back in 85
beam me up
Anyone who likes Star Trek needs to check this out:
They do an excellent job.
It's going to be pure dogshit. Look at TNG and the other dogshit spinoffs. Suck, suck suck. They cleanly missed what made TOS special. Sure, let's plug a Klingon into the plot on the bridge. That'll fly. Get me some big-tittied space wimmen. And a robot. And a kid. And some boring British faggot with a teacup. HEY DO I SOUND LIKE I'M NOT A TNG FAN?
Dogshit. Dream up something new. It's not as if you can throw a rock and not hit ten Jewish screenwriters in LA. Think. Up. Something. New. Not another dogshit retread.
DS9 was great and my favorite of all of them.
Deep Space 9? That shitty Babylon 5 ripoff???
I'll give it a shot. I've probably seen every episode of every Star Trek series ... well, maybe I missed a few episodes of Enterprise ... or maybe not. I don't remember.
Methinks you need an enema this morning.
What a negative ahole you are being!
I got this Dorb....
I have no idea what you nerds are talking about. Will this new show conflict with the WWE? I'm a real man, I love me some wrastling
Riiiiight.... Latent homo Larry Inc.
Every episode will be a retelling of the Wrath of Kahn. That's all they want to do with Star Trek now.
Only one of them I didnt like.
Real men fire their photon torpedoes.
Am I misreading this, or is it ONLY going to be on CBS All Access? So, no television prime time airing?
Not sure but eventually it will be on Netflix or Amazon prime.
