    I made split pea soup with ham and cornbread. No pics but it was pretty good.

    hey squid, what did you marinate your steak in? it's so red.

    i marinate my rib eye in Teriyaki, Dijon, smashed garlic, pepper, olive oil and Worcestershire.

    It looks pretty red in the pic but it wasn't really that bad... I did add a chunk or two of hickory which does in fact cause it to turn reddish....

    For this one, I just used some of that weber Chicago style seasoning and Worcestershire...

    honestly only time i ever seen meat that red is at the chinese restaurant for their pork. they marinate it in this red sauce. Also if you smoke meat really slow you get a pink ring but this is Beatlejuice R.E.D

    jesus. i totally forgot! i made a ribeye tonight :jj: had it with some rice pilaf and cut up 12 onions sauteed it in butter and olive oil with a lil salt and sugar for 2 hours on super low stirring once n a while for the most awesome caramelized onions to go on top of the meat.
