Now the spin starts...It was early..it was the premier of Bachelorette ..Semi Finals of DWT.

How about they never had the media blitz they had for this premier. Howard talking for MONTHS about it. The thousands of articles about Howard being on. Everywhere you looked there was an article about Howard on AGT. All the appearances he made.

Please spare me the excuse bullshit. HE FAILED TO DELIVER. He is on a third rate gong show which only does well when all other shows are in reruns. They hired Howard to see if it could draw against real shows....HE FAILED

Nice sugar coating by the old grey hag. Defanged, self castrated, pc Howard is now on the good guy team so one can only expect outlets such as the Times to fluff up stories for Howard as much as possible.

I didn't watch the show, but I would classify the ratings as a mixed bag. These will likely go down as long as Stern remains vanilla on the show

Bill Carter got an exclusive interview in Howard's apartment this past week and Howard has had him on the show several times to promote his books. Carter is a Howard rump swap.

Usually, editors write the headlines, not the writers.

That Post article was pretty blistering.

I can only expect the ratings to dive from here.

The amount of first time viewers who will tune out after seeing how mellow and vanilla Howard is likely outnumbers the viewers who will begin to tune it because they heard how mellow and vanilla Howard is.

Also it's not Howard's fault, but the show is a corny, steaming pile of douche chilling shit. I don't see Howard being a big enough factot to get more people hooked into it

Well of course. That's why I still haven't watched it, and don't understand fans and ex-fans who would.

What part of Howard Proclaiming to "BE" AGT
And taking over every bit possible
Does NOT make it his fault?

Disclaimer: I could only stomach the first 30 minutes.:shit:

Stern's ratings were not an unalloyed success ...
plenty of ambiguity to allow the spinmeisters a lotta
space for maneuver ..........was it worth the huge
    expenditures ? probably not
