View attachment 61918 New Yorkers have blessed the late David Bowie with his own street. Fans took the streets of Houston and Bowery during the the city's second largest snowstorm in history. Twenty-seven inches of snowfall on Saturday didn't prevent the members of the Lisa Project from renaming street to "David Bowery." The sign rests above the famous Bowery Wall, where a crew of artists rushed to christen the street for Bowie, the legendary shape-shifting musician who lived nearby on Lafayette Street. The 69-year-old rocker passed away on January 10 after an 18-month fight with cancer.
