Other than one of the top QB's is there any player worth 2 first rounders? I would say if I had to pick some one it would be JJ Watt, dude is not only a perennial Defensive POY candidate but could probably line up and be a top 10 TE if he had to.

When you factor in how much money that player would demand, I think any GM would rather take their chances with two picks in a first round and pay them rookie wages....but money aside, if they want to trade in on their future to win now...
Any elite qb, maybe an elite o/d lineman but that's about it. Any other position it's not worth the cost and those positions can be filled by different avenues , schemes can be made to minimize weaknesses , that's kinda what coaching is, no? U can't have the best at every position.

Two number ones and $20M/year (maybe $70M guaranteed). That's too much for anyone short of Aaron Rodgers. The NFL is a lot different from other sports. In basketball, anyone would give up two first round picks for a LeBron James. He's a game changer. Only five players on the floor, so one that's able to take over a game is worth it. A great NFL player can only go as far as his teammates will take him. Anything less than a Hall of Fame QB isn't worth two first round picks. Remember when Ditka traded his entire draft for Ricky Williams? He traded his entire 1999 draft plus a first round pick in 2000 to the Redskins to take Williams at #5! What a retard. I don't know who was dumber, Ditka for giving up 8 picks for Williams or the Redskins for not being able to build a winner with all that clout.

Sadly it's the skins. But that said I would probably would done anything to get A.luck back when they had the #2 pick ... Trading up for him I would of understood and signed off on. Skins haven't had a good Qb in a long time.

Cousins is a better QB than the credit you're giving him. Have the Skins ever had a really good QB? Rypien had a few good seasons, but he had a great team around him. He wasn't the kind of QB to carry a team. Theismann wasn't all that special either. I'm starting to understand how lucky I've been as a Broncos fan. I hope that Osweiller turns out to be something special. Not sure that's going to happen, but I do think he's capable of winning games as long as he has a decent team around him. I'd love it if he were the next Rothlesberger.

I take Von Miller over Wattt. Watt piles up stats against shit teams and disappears in big games.Anything he does on offense is just hokey shit to feed his ego.

Find me a trade, where two first rounders were given up for a CB or a LT. The draft is important in the NFL. Two first round picks are potentially two very good players that are cheap. Don't forget that in addition to those first rounders, you'll be paying $20M/year to that established player. That means you not only give up those first rounders, but you also lose out elsewhere. That's why you just don't see deals like that being made. And franchise QB's simply don't get traded.
