    150k a year.

Each team receives 100 million from the TV contracts and what they're arguing about is 3 million...not per team, total.

    And they work part time!
Wouldn't it behoove the NFL to hire full time refs, pay them 80- 100 k a year and have them train and study the rule book on a full time basis, even in the summer?
I would apply to that job.

The sticking point was they wanted the league to fund their pension plan, and since they're "part time" workers, the NFL said go pound sand.

Guess after Monday night, they had a change of heart.

Me too. I wonder if you need to be "connected" to get these ref jobs. They all seem to be lawyers and shit.
