I can't wait for these guys to fuck up too.
Thank you!!! Finally!!!
BS alert!!!!! Link?
What about tomorrow night in Baltimore?
1 more chance to fucking blow it?
just don't lock out the cheerleaders..I'd hate to see what replacement cheerleaders look like.
I cant wait to go back to complaining about the regular refs again.
There's no info yet. I'm waiting for a link somewhere. CBSSPORTSLINE has a banner about it, but no link yet
That's the truth. How quickly everyone forgets.
Aww man. It was better with jungle rules.
Yep. the regular refs sucked too. just not as bad.
theyll also make a bad calls, but at least they know the rules...
How much do the real refs make?
150k a year.
Each team receives 100 million from the TV contracts and what they're arguing about is 3 million...not per team, total.
it was like a 100G per team in sport that generates $9 Billion, with a B....
And they work part time!
Wouldn't it behoove the NFL to hire full time refs, pay them 80- 100 k a year and have them train and study the rule book on a full time basis, even in the summer?
I would apply to that job.
The sticking point was they wanted the league to fund their pension plan, and since they're "part time" workers, the NFL said go pound sand.
Guess after Monday night, they had a change of heart.
Here's another link. Hercules
Me too. I wonder if you need to be "connected" to get these ref jobs. They all seem to be lawyers and shit.
The guy that made the TD call is the vice president for small-business banking at Bank of America in California.
