    Here are mine...

This one hits me like a ton of bricks. There's something about the "Terminator" story coming full circle at the film's climax that is so bitter-sweet. Also, whenever Kyle Reese tells Sarah about how her unborn son, John Conner, gave him this very Polaroid as a keep-sake, he says "...I always wondered what you were thinking about." It turns out that Sarah Conner was thinking about Kyle Reese...#mindfuck

"I came across time for you Sarah, I love you!" :tears:

This one always gets me because it is a "passing the torch" type of moment between Scotland's two greatest heroes. The handkerchief that Robert the Bruce pulls out represents the hope that Wallace had for a free Scotland and that now it was his duty to fulfill that dream and turn it into a reality.

"Midnight Cowboy" is my favorite film of all time. This scene gets to me because it's the truest representation of friendship that I have ever seen presented in a film.

Oh Lord, that picture captures Midnight Cowboy so well...poor Joe's expression is so poignant. Caught it the other night and cried as always at the end.

Conrad's breakthrough scene with Dr. Berger in "Ordinary People" always gets me, too. Both actors are just pitch-perfect in a very emotional scene that to their credit, never becomes maudlin.

ending scene of "field of dreams". when "rudy" finally gets accepted into Notre Dame.

ive refused to watch any film with a sad animal death or ending. I see those sarah mcclauclin (spelling) come on and I cant change the channel fast enough. I donate to local animal rescues, but I don't want to see that shit on tv.

Why did they even make this movie? I'd rather be kicked in the balls than see it again...

Pretty much the last 20 minutes of My Life, though it's not so much crying as it is uncontrollable sobbing.

I watched this with my daughter a while back...it had some flaws but also one of the saddest scenes that I've ever seen.

Another great Jon Voight scene. He's a Vietnam vet in "Coming Home" (Oscar winner for the role, too) speaking to high school kids about the realities of war vs. the glamour they're thinking it may be. Perhaps somewhat dated now, but at around 3:19, when his voice breaks..."And there's a lot of shit I did over there...that I find fucking hard to live with..." Powerful.

Jon Voight is one of the greatest actors of his generation (Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, Robert Duval, Dustin Hoffman, Jack Nicholson). Why is he never mentioned in that category? Just look at his work on "Ray Donovan".

Lots of sad movie scenes but it usually takes an animal death to get me. The Rocky parts in Creed were pretty close though because I love that character so much
