Y'all some sad mothafuckas.
My annual tirade:
I was weened on the beatles, literally, and aside from some AM pop radio they were the only thing I listened to from 2-12 years old. If you wanna read what a totally disturbed, miserable vitriol spewing assholecuntface Lennon became for some years after they broke up, read Jan Wenners interviews that were made into a book, Lennon Remembers, like I did when I was 10. It scarred me and my respect for him and I still aint got over it. Fuck him.
Peace and love my ass. I doubt many will disagree about what a cunt Yolko is and the fact that he needed HER to play the svengali as he dedicated his whole existence to her is proof enough that he had some serious issues.
As for his post Beatles music, I found very little pleasure in most of his raw, back to the basics music, and however cathartic it was for him just bored the fuck outta me.
I will never get tired of this spiel and will continue to do it annually untill I die
Thank you for your time
Paul solo>Lennon solo......way
whoa my little green dot next to my name isnt green in my tirade post but it is in all the others
I still prefer Lennon all the way.
John Lennon? He's been room temperature for years. And he wasn't a genius.
I have speaken
So have I.
politics, religion and Yolko are the 3 things on this planet that conjure honest hatred in me
Word... Paul was "pizza and bubble gum." John did do some queer stuff with their manager, I forgot his name...the dude that used to get the shit smacked out of him by Dizzy Gillespie, but I don't hold that against him. I'm sure he just felt bad knowing the dude crushed on him so much. Even back then he was a humanitarian.
I suspect if he had lived, and not descended back into a drug-fueled hole, he would have gotten rid of that pretentious, talentless twit. Watching clips of her ruining the Let It Be sessions makes me pissed at her, but more so at John.
So how many solo lennon albums do you have, how many solo songs do you like, and how many can you name off the top of your head?
No need to make a list, though, cuz youll just cheat
John helped steer Paul towards something a bit more edgier. Once he was solo, it was all silly love songs.
I've been in the tiny little town on the border of North and South Dakota where he grew up. It's not worth the trip . . .
Snot nosed kids.
Still looks pretty good.
