Am I wrong about this? I looked it up on Marksfriggin, but there was no mention of the anniversary.

If Langford worked here, he would've been on top of it.

Private Parts, the classic blockbuster movie that cemented Howard Stern's status as King of All Media, was released on March 7, 1997.

    15 years ago this month.

They did mention it, but didn't really discuss it. I definitely heard someone bring it up. either Lisa G or John Lieberman.

The one year anniversary of Howard's lawsuit also recently passed - our litigious hero filed his suit on 3/22/11.

We're still waiting for all of those wonderful scenes to be picked up off of the cutting room floor and put back into the movie. Like Ben coming home to his Rob Roy with plastic wrap on top (was in the trailer, but not the final cut of the movie. Ol' "Bait & Switch Howchie" at it, yet again.)

Howard pwomised they'd be put back in for the videotape, or the DVD, or maybe the Blue Ray?

Just checked - no HD copy on Blue Ray, yet. Maybe they're waiting for the 20th anniversary? After all, his children will be even more grown up, and less likely to commit patricide over the sheer hypocrisy of the movie, especially in light of "Condom-gate".

"It's all about Alison." Wow. I wonder how many takes they had to shoot before Howard could say that with a straight face.

If he was still married to Alison, he'd do everything he could to ram that movie down our throats with all of those bonus scenes that he promised. I'd watch a directors cut of Private Parts and probably even add it to my movie collection but Beth doesn't like the movie, so no go.

+reps...Why wouldn't Beth love that movie? It shows that, in the end, Howard is all about his family and he would never cheat on the wife.

At this point I bet Allison and the daughters have a good laugh about it but that movie must kill Beth's self esteem. Half of the movie is about him loving his wife.

Ah, but you forget the History of Howard Stern that aired in, I believe, December 2010, which devoted like 15 hours to Private Parts.
