(some of you fux are in real trouble, you know who you are)

Is nonconformity and freethinking a mental illness? According to the newest addition of the DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders), it certainly is. The manual identifies a new mental illness called “oppositional defiant disorder†or ODD. Defined as an “ongoing pattern of disobedient, hostile and defiant behavior,†symptoms include questioning authority, negativity, defiance, argumentativeness, and being easily annoyed.

If everyone is "mentally ill", then no one can have guns.

Funny how those narcissists eliminated NPD from the DSM-IV, while anyone who opposes them are "mentally ill".

Another popular gun grab technique is about to become reality here in MN as well; Anyone charged/convicted of a domestic assault (or served with an Order of Protection) will have their gun rights stripped. May end up having to take possession of all my dad's guns since he may have one on his record from 25 yrs ago. Though it may have been plead down to a simple assault charge. I was only a kid so I have no clue on that, lol.

Wow, that's a sign of what we're living in today - NPD has been eliminated from the DSM? That's unreal. A disorder that leads to sociopathic type behavior and is characterized by a complete inability to experience empathy, with very little hope of treatment is removed from the treatment books. And ODD which was an incredibly questionable diagnosis in the first place, is kept in the books and now defined as "easily annoyed" and resistant to authority. Well I guess when power has been consolidated to the level it is now, it was only a matter of time before disagreement would be outlawed or diagnosed as a mental illness, and the sociopaths would give themselves a clean bill of health.
