I thought Darrell Hammond was doing a great job as the Colonel....not sure why the change, but it's Norm's gig now. Good luck to him, I hope he can inject a little bit of his dry humor into the ads.

I see an Artie Lange cameo coming - shoving his face full of KFC in the booth of a restaurant or something.

I thought DH was great in these commercials.

Maybe the advertising strategy is to rotate in SNL has beens every six months. That way viewers don't get bored and the talent has no leverage for contract negotiations.

Who's going to be the Colonel next? Garret Morris?

What a fucking train wreck. I hate Norm McDonald -- simply not funny. AND he introduced Artie to the Stern show. A damning fact. SNL hasn't been funny since the 1970s IMHO, and the whole Bill Murray-Norm McDonald type of STUPID humor grates my balls. There's nothing funny about stupidity.

Norm McDonald, portraying Col. Sanders on KFC commercials. Wow. I hope it drives him to suicide. Stupid concept.

My favorite part is when he shrugs after stating he is the REAL Colonel Sanders. Kinda like he's thinking "yeah, I don't know what's gong on either." Fun stuff!

This is the only one I've seen on TV, and I just saw it about 5 minutes ago. I'm kind of indifferent about the whole thing :dontknow:

Norm is hilarious and this is beneath him, but he's never been a great businessman. Oh well. He's the funniest person in the entire fuckin' world.

It's sort of amusing if they just swap out the guy playing him every couple weeks.

    blaek colonel?

[edit] ahhh, someone beat me. But Garrett Morris would be supreme.
