Heard his latest with Ray Romano..good stuff..
Ray Romano now thats a fucking comic.
Yeah just watched it. Very glad to have another season of shows coming at us. Norm rules.
I listened to the Larry King show, and it's Time Capsule material. Really great shit.
"Comic" that he made a billion dollars by being an emasculated, faggoty piece of shit.
Ray is ok, but he sure has a strange way about "comedy". He did play a whipped clown for his cash. Then on "men of a certain age" he played a differently strange and pussified guy and that was depressing more than funny. Last week on "Maron" he plays himself as an even stranger dick who tosses money at everything and still has to kowtow to his bitchy wife. It wasn't playing an over-the-top dickhead version of himself to be funny, it was a "I'm really rich and unhappy and bored" version of himself. Brought the Maron show down with it for an episode.
You are very lucky you haven't seen him in Parenthood awkwardly courting an old woman. It's creepy and embarrassing.
(The whole show is a weekly chick flick.)
I agree, shows cater to the pussification of America and a big reason why we have pussy metro sexuals running around this country going to therapy for every reason under the sun and crying at the drop of a hat
Geez, guys, it was basically The Honeymooners and every other dumb husband show since then. Why single out Everybody Blows Raymond?
Because he absolutely sucks.
I love how the Adam Sandler episode is up, but it's private so no one can watch it.
For real? So that's who the guest is this week.. It's supposed to be available tomorrow. Same day Norm is on Conan.
Sandler's episode is up.
Sandler's show wasn't great. Norm seemed very held back or intimidated or something.
The show is usually great though. Norm's sense of humor is very specific and I dig it. Gilbert, Larry King and Kevin Nealon were hilarious.
Next up is Rip Taylor, lol.
Nobody can make Sandler funny.
So Norm just had Bob Saget on, and of course Dirty Work was discussed at some length. Saget mentioned Artie several times and noticeably wished him well, how Bob mentioned Artie in his book, etc. Norm, not so much. He acknowledged Artie's existence in passing, kind of changed the subject after Saget's book story, and didn't really say anything positive (or negative) about him, at least that I noticed on first listen. Oh yeah, he did say how Artie was all coked up and scoring from some "raggedy looking Mexican" from the first time he met him.
Eget continues to be a screeching humorless brake on the flow of the show.
every show needs its ritchie
Hey this is the Nick and Artie Show thread. Or maybe just the Artie Lange thread. But come on. Artie without Nick? Really good, but not the best radio ever. Thanks for Norm update but hey, this is the N&A threads right? tell me I'm right?
I'm no Q-Bait KEV.
Love norm. That said, they need to ditch the term podcast. It is beyond gay and only turns people off from the medium.
