North Korea accidentally lets world access its internet and it only has 28 websites
Someone in North Korea is in a lot of trouble.

The secretive state somehow accidentally opened access to all the websites hosted on its servers, revealing that it only has 28 registered domains.

On Monday at around 10 p.m. Pacific time, North Korea's nameserver – that contains information about all of the ".kp" websites – was misconfigured, allowing it to be accessed. This meant Matthew Bryant, a researcher, was able to access the domain names and some of the file data about the site.

Bryant dumped all of this on Github – a site that hosts computer code. It's the first real look into the secret online world of the hermit state North Korea.

Some of the websites take a long time to load and some are inaccessible. Among the 28 sites listed is one called Air Koryo, a flight booking site, and one named Friend, presumably some sort of social network.

One website that has always been accessible outside of North Korea is the Korean Central News Agency – the state-run propaganda site.

A Reddit page lists all of the websites discovered and below are some examples of the sites.

From one of the news sites-

US Reckless Moves for Preemptive Attack
    under Fire

Kim Kwang Hak, researcher at the Institute for American Studies of the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK, released a commentary titled "US reckless moves for preemptive attack precipitate self-destruction only" on September 20.

The Council on Foreign Relations of the US recently made public a report claiming that the US would consider a military strike if the DPRK continues bolstering up its nuclear and missile capability, refusing to respond to the negotiations with the US, the commentary said, and went on:

The report issued by the above-said council is nothing but an empty theory and talk of windbags who forgot the strategic position of the DPRK which had access even to H-bomb.

The US heinous hostile policy toward the DPRK and ceaseless nuclear threat and blackmail compelled the DPRK to bolster its nuclear force hour by hour and it has sufficient military muscle to retaliate against the US in the air and on the ground and on and under the seas.

The US is the chieftain of all evils in the world, and the US heinous hostile policy and reckless war moves for aggression should be countered with the toughest counteraction and immediate and preemptive strike. This is the conclusion finally made by the DPRK.

The DPRK remains unperturbed by the US dangerous sabre-rattling. If the US makes even the slightest provocation against the DPRK, the latter will blow up the stronghold of the US including Washington and settle accounts with the US. This is the iron will and steadfast stand of the army and people of the DPRK.

The US would be well advised to clearly understand that the military preemptive attack on the DPRK will only precipitate its self-destruction.

If the US ignites a nuclear war at last on this land, defying this warning of the DPRK, it is bound to perish in the flames.
