Beth is so terrible at caring for animals that I actually spend time thinking about Blind Buddy locked up by himself in cage.

Why can't he play with other cats? Why is he in a cage? Why am I wasting mental energy?

The cat seems distraught in those Vine clips.

Look, Buddy has a book deal now... he can't be seen fraternizing with the common household cats.

I'm not sure if Buddy still has something contagious (not likely after all this time) or Beth is too lazy to give him the supervision he needs and it's easier just to lock him up. Either way it's cruel to deprive a cat who is totally blind of stimulation and companionship. Whatever happened to him must have been her fault since she's being so secretive about it. I feel bad for poor Buddy too, he must be terribly confused and unhappy. The humane thing would have been to put him down when it was determined that his eyes were beyond repair but Beth chose to exploit him instead.
