and Number 8 and climbing on iTunes Canada
Stealing it now off Pirates Bay.
most of it is on youtube already -- they don't give a shit about copyright on there -- at least give it a few weeks to sell
Leon Russell isn't that froggy guy is he? I just got that "froggy" "cheese" thing out of my head
Oh fuck. Do I have to explain every damn thing to you for you to understand. Do you need pictures with your explanation in order for you to comprehend? Don't get me wrong. I deal with college educated idiots every day. Mostly the engineer types. "That beam can't possibly be in your way, because my prints show it being 3 feet away.".
Now as far as embedding fail. Photobucket is the only place that won't shoot me down because of the music content, and we have not found a way to make embedding possible from there. (Youtube sent me a nasty warning too!)
Now, on to Leon Russell. (Get your Colin Powell pics ready)
I've probably seen him perform more that any single artist I can think of, because he comes from my home town. Tulsa.
Now back in the late 60's, early 70's, he used to pull a couple flatbed tractor trailers out to Mohawk Park, and do free concerts on Saturdays.
Another thing he did that was too cool. He heard a fellow artist was down on his luck, so him and delany and bonnie, and some guy named Eric Clapton decided to do a tour called Mad Dogs & Englishmen to give their friend a hand up.
I've heard of Leon Russell, but mostly know him from the Bangladesh concert, he was good there.
Don't understand why Elton is #1 on anything just like I couldn't understand MJ being #1 on anything either
And there's George right up front!
I understand Elton being there simply because of his composing ability. Like his genre or not, the guy can put some intricate pieces together.
I'm with you on MJ though.
I thought Bernie Taupin wrote and composed all his shit.
I think Bernie was for lyrics. Elton music.
And I read somewhere that up to Goodbye Yellowbrick Road, that when Taupin set the lyrics before him, it took no more than 20 minutes to compose a rough draft.
Not gay bashing, but a hit or two aside here and there he really hasn't been relevant since Tumbleweed Connection. I don't get why so many people are on his dick.
To be honest, I haven't listened to him much since his heydays. Don't know anything he's done in probably 15-20 years. Not my cup of tea, but I won't deny him his talent.
you have to be joking! have you been on youtube lately -- every song ever published is on there for the taking!
Neil Young doesn't fuck around. His shit will be up, I'm talking entire albums. Two weeks later you can't find it.
James Brown was the same way. You could find certain famous tracks but not the obscure, good shit. Now that he's dead everyone's raping him.
Yeah but the songs posted have links to amazon and itunes for download. If I can figure out how to add the link for download, I'd post them there, and link them here.
But since you seem to be the only one annoyed with it, I could really give a fuck.
