Dude. You clicked on the Howard Stern forum. What is Howard doing right now? Judging America's Got Talent, which you'll be hearing about all next week.

If you aren't interested in Howard Stern, what the fuck are you doing clicking on this forum and clicking on this thread.

There are, after all, many other forums and many, many other threads.

Yet you chose to put your energy into clicking this one. Hmmmmm.....

the world does not need a "kinder, gentler Howard Stern"... I never once in my life knew it would end like this... Howard ain't going out a crankier, more belligerent Imus.

I agree. We have enough kinder, gentler jokesters out there. If I wanted that, I'd watch Jay Leno.

Howard was never, never, never going to be nasty.

That's actually not him, and it's not been him since at least terrestrial radio.

I'm sure this came about originally.
Not likely they would put a Stern impersonator on stage on purpose to use for drawing attention to the show. :rolleye:

I'm tellin' you all, the Artie transition made everyone think he hasn't been a flaming fag since like 2001 or whenever the hell Artie started sitting in permanently. Then one day Artie tried to off himself and it all became horrifically clear. I totally agree this article fits the personality he's had for a good time now.

    He's gay. And faggot.

yes.. it's a brutal truth to at least this fan of 17 plus years.
I gave that fucking bastard some of the best years of his life & now he's leaving me & my ilk for wide-assed hausfraus in lower Mespotamianois?

I don't think he would have been nasty even if it were 1995. He may have been more boisterous, but he wouldn't have been mean on a top rated network show. What I don't care to see is Howard being overly gentle. He needs to be more honest like Simon and Piers and get pissed at idiots.

Here's the Stern impersonator. I just entered his name on YouTube, and came up with this:

The divorce destroyed his cahones, go listen to old tapes when he's married to Alison, such an endearingly entertaining douchebag back then. Glorious days, how he'd eviscerate anyone he came in contact with verbally.

I think it was the movie that did it.
He longed for adulation and mass acceptance from that point on.

Yes it is true. A lot of people jumped ship before I did...screaming about how annoying it was for Howard to be talking about American Idol and the Bachelor every day, amongst other gay shit...but I never really focused on it because I was still laughing and able to look beyond that. Artie balanced it out. Since Artie left it is Howard spinning on a giant beer can cock...Ooogah!

Probably put the final nail in the coffin with the wife. Concocting some fake fantasy during marital issues so everyone else in America will love him while he couldn't give less of a fuck about the mother of his children.

This is what I expected - he's only "kinder and gentler" to the people who don't listen to the show and think he's some angry guy rather than a whipped dude trying to fit in with the Hamptons crowd, get his wife invited to parties and TV shows and set up another sleepover with Rosie O'Donnell. The show itself sounds unwatchable and I can't imagine sitting through one of those auditions as an audience member.

Exactly...some guy who came on his show at least 15 years ago. Total bullshit act to get a reaction for the show and maybe use as a promo.
