In homage of the NJ crew, I thought I'd start this one for us New York City folk. It's a good thing the Yemeni-run bodega across the street is open today in case I need to pick something up (like pasta or something). I've got some food and supplies and tons of candles and flashlights. The gusts are pretty bad outside but they're nothing compared with what we're supposed to get. It's Monday 9:12AM as I write this. I live in the Lower East Side. How are the rest of my neighbors doing? Here's the prediction for NY: "The most dangerous conditions were forecast to occur between Monday and Tuesday. Sustained winds could reach 60 mph at the coast and 45 mph in the northern and western suburbs, especially Monday night. Gusts will likely exceed 75 mph, especially in coastal areas and at the upper floors of the city's skyscrapers."
