A recent survey by Travel + Leisure magazine ranked New York the dirtiest American city.

The online poll of 50,000 people found that rats, funky odors and trash heaps were the main factors for the dubious distinction.

If there isn't enough dirt for you, it also "won" the survey for being the loudest and rudest city in the country. It also ranked worst for affordability.

    35 American cities were rated.

I love NY but found it a little odd for garbage to be piled up in the street every night in front of stores and restaurants. Get some alleys and garbage cans you smelly fucks

Best cities used to be a thread on SFN I think. San Fran and San Diego were in the top 10.

This. For the amount of people living and working in NYC, it isn't bad, really.

A pizza place in Sacramento made ny pizza and the guy was from ny and told people they imported water from ny. New Yorkers would swear it was authentic. The guy admitted he made it up.

Face it, the city is so filthy that fucking in a piss covered stall doesn't bother it's residents.
