Who is watching?
Bad timing, burned out on OJ after mini series.
Yeah I can see that but this is still pretty good so far
I'll watch anything O.J.
Binge watch when its finished airing.
I watched most of it.
What time? What channel?
ESPN. Part 2 on at 9pm est
All 5 parts can be viewed at watchespn
now you gotta watch it
It was interesting how around the same time OJ was playing football and building his brand to eventually become the biggest black athlete doing commercials at the time, Ali was refusing to go to Vietnam because he wouldn't fight for a country that treated blacks so poorly, and Olympic athletes were giving the black power fist on the podium.
Ali lost his boxing license and went to jail for 3 years during his prime.
"Smith and Carlos knew they would be expelled from the Olympics for making a political statement, but did it anyway to express their disillusion with the racial reality of 1968 America and their support for human rights battles around the world. Today, they are hailed as heroes and received the 2008 Arthur Ashe Courage Award from ESPN. But in 1968, all three were ostracized for their actions by many."
Why the Black community still defends Simpson when he ignored what was going on at the time just to secure himself a multi-million dollar advertising and movie career is something I'll never understand.
I missed part one and it's not on again. Fuck it.
I watched some expose on OJ not too long ago anyway...
This. I saw the mini series.
The FX series was good...but I'm juiced out.
