May a fifth be with you
Top of the morning to you all!
I wish the Rangers would have won last night. Fucking fluke goal if I've ever seen one scored by the Crapitals.
Lots of positive emails, Robin
^^^^^better than anything we will hear today!
The new Avengers movie is the first Marvel sequel to earn less at the box office than its predecessor. "Why even promote this movie -- other than on my show?" Howard asked Robert Downey Jr. last week. "It's guaranteed to be huge." Instead of setting all-time box office records as expected, it's on target to earn $100 million less than the first Avengers film.
This echoes the same outcome of the last film RDJ promoted on the Howard Stern Show. Discussing The Judge last October, Howard predicted Oscar nominations for all, and agreed with RDJ that the film would be a massive hit. The Judge opened in fifth place, and has a Rotten Tomatoes score of just 47%.
Above: Robert Downey Jr., like Madonna before him, is feeling the beginning effects of the Power of Howard.
When will Howard address this?
I am curious to see which wig he wears today. Hopefully we get a guest photo.
I'm still relevant, Robin
another jam packed show! Wake me up when its over.
Apple plug #1
Let's shake it up today Boff.
Granted this is about his boyfriend Ralph this is the first interesting conversation in months. Maybe I am just starved for anything, granted it is about I watch failure.
Or as Jim Norton put it yesterday the Metallica movie made 3 million on a 22 million budget because they only promoted it on Stern and Corbert. Wiggys 22 million listeners stayed home again.
Ralph, full throttle always works for me.
Funny, as I was thinking of compiling a list of the fate of projects profiled in marquee fashion on Howard's show, the first thing I thought of was the Metallica disaster.
Must be exhausted after 20 minutes of actual conversation, talking about other people's marbles.
Metallica made their own disaster by suing their fans over Napster. Their base has dwindled since they are douchebags. I use to be a fan till they released the sellout album Black. Also fagily played with an Orchestra.
