Money now in the budget to pay her to call in.

Doug Bady; Stand-Up Comedian Toured With Kinison Group
August 30, 1996
Doug Bady, 31, stand-up comedian who toured with Sam Kinison's Outlaws of Comedy revue. Born with muscular dystrophy, Bady made tabloid headlines in 1990 when he claimed that Jerry Lewis, host of the Muscular Dystrophy Assn. telethon, became angry and attacked Bady in his wheelchair. Only 2 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 80 pounds, Bady described himself for his audiences as "a crippled wheelchair-bound midget comedian." He made his shortness work for him, joking about his size in his act and in his private life. Once asked why he became a comedian, Bady rejoined: "Well, the thought of doing construction work was out of the question." Radio host Howard Stern observed Bady's death Monday by replaying one of Bady's skits in which he hid in a closed steamer trunk on a New York street crying, "Help me!" and when released cursed the rescuer. On Aug. 23 in Burbank.
