See Jon Hen at 00:46
And Midget Booey at 00:52.
I saw them in the late 80s at the Hollywood Palladium. Great show, but it was a long, scary line to get in the door (not because of the fans, but the 'local talent').
Saw them also in the late 80's on Halloween in Costa Mesa- front row center (was working for an event sponsor at the time)- damn good show!!
Mystic Knights of The Oingo Boingo!
Oh yeah!!! Back when Danny Elfman's older brother was the leader of the band!
I saw them at a block party on Ivar St. in Hollywood in the early 80's.
They closed off Ivar between Franklin and the 101 freeway.
Pretty crazy party back then.
Lot's of punks trying to show how punky they were.
couldn't find a video unfortunately, but my favorite boingo song.
Danny also did well when he started writing scores for movies:
Howard related b/c of that utterly fraudulent, soulless and totally ignored "birthday bash."
