I hear they're making a film adaptation of Q-Bert starring Mayim Bialik

Ratchet and Clank movie is out in theaters now. That is a fun little game.

I don't know how they got Sylvester Stallone, Paul Giamatti, and John Goodman to be in it :jj:

I love the AC series but this trailer doesn't give me any confidence that the movie's any good. The CG looks cheap. Harrible music choice too.

Don't bother. It was terrible. I took my six year old to see it. I think he liked it but the movie sucked. And I'm a fan of the series. I've been a fan since the ps2 games were out.

If you remember the first trailers for Jurassic World, as well as the trailers for Dead Pool, you'll remember the CGI in that was terrible as well. The movie doesn't come out until December, and since CGI is the last part, they're just promoting what they can now and will be doing special effects until Halloween if not later.

The budget is hovering around 200 million. It'll look amazing, it's the content that will be questionable. I'd honestly rather just play a few hours of Black Flag, which is probably one of the best games ever made instead of watching the movie though.

I was interested until I heard the rap song. Probably going to be a cool movie, rather than a good movie.

I'm trying to think of a movie that was based on a video game that was any good...I can't. I had high hopes for Dungeon Siege way back when...it had a star-filled cast and still fell on it's face.

The games take place in the future. Abstergo is a company that designed a machine to travel back in limited areas and times. The music is jarring and terrible - but not out of place.

Final Fantasy had CGI that was decades ahead of its time, the Resident Evil series was well done, there's the Last Star Fighter, Max Payne was alright as well.

I also liked both Hitman movies, but I may be the only one.

I think the conceit is more along the lines of experiencing people's memories from the past through their eyes more than straight up time travel.
