Had these two bad boys when i was a youth! Funny how just seeing them sorta took me back to a simpler time. :(

I loved picking the buttons off that zenith one.

If your looking for old controllers I've actually owned... this takes the cake
    a pinoneer laserdisc player remote.

In the early days of DVD.. laserdisc was the SHIT for a 90's kid like me... Bought a used pioneer Ld player off ebay with a money order from the local gas station... those were the days

you STILL can't get the same special features that were available on the criterion collection TRAINSPOTTING laserdisc

When I was a kid I was the remote control. My old man would tell me to switch the TV to channel 2.

Nice! I used to lay in front of our TV before we had a remote and use my toes to hit the numbers on the keypad on the front. I was so skilled at it! Haaaaa It was TV like this one....

    Yup, this was mine too.

    Circa 1980-1982.

The first time I watched MTV, when it was actually MTV was on this bad boy.

That was a big deal in the early 80's.

    Good times.

liitle brothers were the first remote controls, voice activated, no batteries, sometimes they needed a good slap upside the head to get them working.

Yup that's what we had first. If you opened it up and turn a small screw you could get a lot of the NFL Sunday games. They got wise to that quick and sealed it together and said if it came back unsealed you buy it, unactivated and useless.
