Oldest footage of New York City ever:
Cool stuff. Haven't been that far east yet, but I'll go eventually.
This country really took off after the Industrial Revolution. Amazing how they were able to build tall buildings and bridges as early 1900.
What is with the qualifier "recognizable"?
There is OLDER footage but we wouldn't recognize it at New York. The kentiscope was invented almost ten years before this "oldest footage"(recognizable).
Shit, there are photographs of new york decades older...
Kind of odd to see a fight on the street and it was between two white guys, and nobody was yelling worldstar
