So I'm talking to a client when three little boys burst in the door. They're all sweaty, out of breath and one was even trembling a bit. They were 10-11 years old. I asked them what was wrong but they couldn't even explain because they were all catching their breath. When they finally could explain they said that yesterday afternoon two men in a blue Caravan attempted to abduct an 11-year-old girl on that very street several blocks West. Parents were notified and the one boy's mom said he could still walk home from school as long as the three friends stayed together. She also gave him her phone. SO they were walking home and reached the street my shop is on when they noticed a blue Caravan following behind them very slowly. Inside were two men who were "staring at them". So the boys got spooked and went into a nearby convenience store. They told the clerk what happened and the clerk said he'd "keep an eye out". The boys (wisely) spent some time in the store before returning to the street. THEN, when they eventually did leave the store, as soon as they hit the sidewalk on our street the van re-appeared from around a corner and followed them AGAIN! It was at this point that they began running. They ran about two blocks and that's when they got to my shop and came bursting in. As they did, they said the van turned down an alley a few doors down.
