    I hung up after 30 mins and called back. The woman who answered took my info and request so quickly. I'm sure I'll be calling again to orrow

    718 351 1136. I got through immediately. Then they put me on hold. I walked to my local deli and came back. All on hold.

    OMG I wish they did requests thru email. So easy I asked. They are working on it.
    I like the dr hate the staff. They seem retarded

    My Drs office gave me a prescription for the wrong medicine once ... I had to PAY to GO BACK THERE to get a new one. Wouldn't do it over the phone. :banghead:

    Most doctor's offices are run like government offices. Over-long lunch periods, they're ghost towns after lunch on friday, and nobody ever gets fired for incompetence. When the schedule is full whether or not you are efficient, and the amount you can charge customers is pre-determined, this is what happens.

    I was thinking that lunch must've been delivered while I was on hold. Everyone was eating while the phones were blinking. They assume you'll call back.

    At least my pharmacist is a good guy. I go to a local family run place. They tell me when a mistake was made. You won't get that service at Walgreens. And if a mistake was made he'll give you enough drugs to hold you over until you work it out with the staff

    I knew I should have gone into medicine. For decades I was scarfing down lunch in 3 minutes so I could get back to work.

    I worked at a pharmacy in h/s and college. A lot of pharmacists are smarter than a lot of doctors and it's scary how little some docs know about the medicines they prescribe. I had a opthamologist ask me "what's this?" when I listed a fairly common antibiotic I was allergic to.

    No other industry gets away with this b.s. Most doctors like to be treated like clergy and feel they are beyond reproach. It seems to extend to their staff.
