    Elevators alone look very cool.

Why did the white chick point out that the black chick is fortunate to not have an open air space up there? King Kong reference? :dontknow:

That was very cool. I live in the city and will never go there, UNLESS an out of town friend/family ask me to take them..

I was just wondering if that building will go through the same hell the others did.

    I hope not. :(

I think I might have to go. I've lived here my entire life, but I will go.

Dave Checketts was the MSG president when the Knicks were really good in the 1990's.

I wouldn't be comfortable going there. First, I visited the roof observatory of the old WTC many times so I'm already familiar with the great view. Second, I'm not comfortable enough with life in Obama's America to believe that I, or more importantly my family, would be perfectly safe up there. Third, I hate heights. The elevators are cool, though.

I went on Sunday. What an amazing view!
The elevator ride is insanely quick - like 40 seconds.
They did a great job of making the visit interactive & you can spend as long as you want there.
I would recommend that tourists do this instead of the $50 Empire State building visit.

Total joke. The view is no different than the WTC. I went up there in the 90's but can't remember what they were charging. I think the Willis Tower in Chicago was around $16 when we went up there last year. Doubling that to get the fancy elevator seems like a ripoff. A day at a great amusement park isn't much more expensive than taking an elevator ride to the top floor of a building.
