Ringo and The Boss have cancelled their upcoming shows here in NC and Bryan Adams cancelled one in Mississippi (something about the gays also) in protest of NCs bathroom bill. Then you have bands like Mumford and Sons (whoever the fuck they are) who are gonna play their show and donate the money to a LGBT organization in Charlotte as a way of protesting against the bill. What would you think of your favorite artist cancelling a show in your area as a way of protest?

    I support.

And if I lived there, I'd be on the phone to my state legislature to complain. Loudly.

When these things come up I always ask myself - 'What bathroom would I let John Hein use?'

    Everybody gets a trophy

How many people are we talking about out of a crowd of thousands? These bands are boycotting because some pickle sniffer can't figure out where to piss? Heh, I've been to concerts where women have come into the men's room to piss in the urinals, or the sinks, because the lines were to long at the ladies room. Where's the outrage/ boycotting over that? Just take your piss, take your seat, and shut up.

I don't care if there are babies on fire in the parking lot. I paid hundreds of dollars to come see you play your music, now get busy.

Bathroom law  Jesus Christ. We are doomed...mother fucking doomed.

So they are denying service to people because the state they live in has a different viewpoint than their own?

Nothing hypocritical about that at all.

Interesting that these performers don't care about women possibly being assaulted by men posing as women in public restrooms. All that's important is that they get in lockstep with the prevailing liberal stance so they can call me a bigot for thinking that men and women should use their proper public restrooms. People who support this law should boycott these asshole performers...

if they go, preach, then still collect the money. to me thats hypocritical.
letting ones actions speak, is better.

my buddy opened a bar&restaurant 4 years ago.

But you support people denying services to gay people. You cant have it both ways bro. Its a free country people can do whatever they want, if they dont want to perform in some states thats their right.

I find it amusing when people like Bryan Adams play in Dubai and Egypt, yet make an issue of boycotting here. I guess ethics are rather flexible depending on the paycheck at stake.

Normally, if there's a creep hanging out in the women's restroom, someone will call the cops and he'll be arrested. From now on, the creep will say he "identifies as a woman" and the Police won't be able to do anything.
