Ok, Direct TV is in a carriage fee dispute with my local NBC/CW affiliates. I couldn't care two shits about NBC/CW programming, except for the fact that the SUPER BOWL is on NBC.

I'm pretty sure the dispute will be resolved by that time, but I am planning for all contingencies, considering that the Pats will be playing in the Super Bowl

So here is my question, how do I hook it up? My TV is obviously hooked up to the Direct TV receiver, it is also hooked up to a Bose surround system, as is a Blue Ray player. Once I hook it up, what "input" gets used?

thank you for your help---and for a little incentive a really nice ass

    Nice ass.

You talking about, like, an old school "rabbit ears" antenna?

Another alternative is hooking up my TV to my laptop. NBC is streaming the game live for the first time--How do I hook the TV up to my laptop, and can it be done wirelessly?

Your TV will need a built in ATSC tuner to be able to decode HD OTA channels. What model TV you got?

It's on the TV. Should be only one coaxial input where it can work.

The coax suggestions are valid IF you can decode ATSC AND you have some sort of audio return channel to your Bose. If no Audio return you will have to use the TV speakers. I can help you but will need tit pics as well.

Really? Oh THAT's going to go well. :( First Victoria's Secret webcast all over again.

You'd need a TV out capability to send it to your TV. There are USB devices that will do it, if you're willing to invest. Another approach is via network with DLNA to something like a Roku at the TV.... There are hundreds of ways to skin it.
