http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2014/10/28/parents-six-flags-employees-made-handicap-girls-feel-different/ "Two North Texas families are angry with the treatment they say they received at a North Texas theme park. The Wimberly family of Weatherford, and the Gibson family of Arlington, say they enjoyed a great afternoon at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, until they attended a live stage show at a theater inside the park...." OK, the bottom line is that 6 flags screwed up and inconvenienced these 2 families. They told them they couldn't park their wheelchairs in the designated wheelchair space unless the girls were sitting in them. The parents refused to move them. 6 Flags has publicly apologized and offered the girls a VIP day at 6 flags. The parents aren't sure if they will accept. 1. Why is this news? This received coverage on local TV news! 2. WTF, not accepting the apology and the free day? This sounds like they are going to try to get a pay day out of it. This is rampant PC ism gone too far. I'm sorry the girls weren't treated right. Get over it Mom and Dad. It won't be the last time in their lives. What is going to happen when one of them doesn't get a promotion she thinks she deserves? Gee, I was at a four way stop last night and the guy to my left went before his turn.
