they can play but they're just too goofy for me. there'll be a cool part for a bit and then they'll ruin it. it's just not for me.

I couldn't finish the video but it sounds like he's trying to be a poor mans Zappa. I'd rather sit in K-mart and jam out to the intercom music.

It doesn't end no wonder lol

Dick's Sporting Goods Park, Commerce City, CO

Soundcheck: Jam, Devotion to a Dream, Waiting All Night, Winterqueen, Sing Monica

Set 1: Llama, Undermind, Stash, Halfway to the Moon, I Didn't Know, Nellie Kane, Guyute, The Line, Ocelot > No Quarter, Ha Ha Ha, Suzy Greenberg[1]

Set 2: 46 Days > Back on the Train > Simple > Ghost > Backwards Down the Number Line > Harry Hood > Wading in the Velvet Sea > Run Like an Antelope

    Encore: Character Zero

[1] with Jennifer Hartswick on trumpet and Natalie Cressman on trombone

    Teases:
    · Magilla and San-Ho-Zay teases in Simple

Notes: The initial letter of the first ten songs spelled Lushington, which had won a 2014 online poll to determine the best Phish song by Rolling Stone magazine. However, the eleventh song was Ha Ha Ha, after which Trey announced "You asked, we delivered. Simple as that." Suzy Greenberg featured Jennifer Hartswick on trumpet and Natalie Cressman on trombone. Simple contained a Magilla tease from Page and a San-Ho-Zay tease from Trey.

    Not my cup of tea.

But they did open the set with Llama. I suppose they deserve at least a bit of love in the Shed for that. :giggle:
